DIY Outdoor Lawn Game

Summer is here and what better way to have fun than to play some outdoor games!   We love to recycle things we have at home and create activities for kids (and grown ups too!).

What you'll need:

– Cardboard pieces/box
– Paper Towel Roll (empty roll)
– Tape
– Scissors
– Marker/Pen

.

How to make it:

Make a circle in the middle of the 2 pieces, the size of the paper roll.

Cut the circles as shown.

Also cut one end of the paper roll.  Do a cut of approx. 1-1.5 inch long, every 1 inch and fold them back (as seen in picture)

Criss cross the pieces and insert the roll.
Fold over the cut pieces and apply tape to secure it.

There you have it!
You can ask your kids to color or paint it too!

Grab some pieces of cardboard (you could even use a cereal box or paper plates!) and make circles to throw.   We did 2 sizes here with different points.

Have fun with the family!
